Franz Friedrich Fronius
Franz Friedrich Fronius (born 9 January 1829 in Nadesch - died 14 February 1886 in Agnetheln)[1] was a botanist, ethnologist, and Lutheran cleric from Schäßburg.[2][3]
Fronius, a Transylvanian Saxon, authored over thirty books, including, Flora von Schäßburg, ein Beitrag zur Flora von Siebenbürgen (English: Flora of Schäßburg, a Contribution to the Flora of Siebenbürgen).[4]
He co-authored countless other works, among them, Aus Siebenbürgens Vorzeit und Gegenwart (English: Siebenbürgen, from Antiquity to Present).[5][6]
